In all cases apply the vehicle and battery manufacturer's battery management rules
before those suggested here. Below are simply more general suggestions which
may help ensure longer battery life but
may not apply to your
battery and/or vehicle,
- Recharge Lead Acid batteries immediately after use.
- Remove batteries from charger after recharging.
- Recharge batteries after 30 days even if unused.
- DON'T completely discharge either Lead Acid or NiMH batteries.
